Abby & Robby | Surprise Dade City Proposal

Abby and Robby have been dear friends of mine for a while. I have photographed several of Abby’s horses and I have had the pleasure of photographing reining shows that they both compete in! Robby surprised Abby with a photo session for Christmas with me and her new sweet mare, and then he upped the ante a little bit more. Gentlemen, gather round and take notes, this is good!

After Abby and I started planning her session, Robby shared with me that he was planning on proposing to Abby during our session! How exciting! We got to work making sure we could incorporate Robby into the photos (AKA I begged Abby to let me take some photos of both of them “for my portfolio!”) and I made a plan with Robby for how to signal to him that the light was perfect and it was time!

Abby was SO surprised and the energy after she said yes was amazing! We spent the rest of the evening playing in the beautiful golden light and I am just in love with every single one of these images! Sessions like this truly make my heart sing and I always feel so blessed to get to tell just a little part of these stories!
