FAQ’s
What is required to book our wedding date?
To hold your wedding date, I require a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer equal to 50% of your package total. Once you let me know you’re ready to book, your contract and invoice will be sent and can be signed and paid electronically! It’s super easy and only takes a few minuets!
Can you create a custom package for us?
Absolutely! I require a minimum of 4 hours of wedding day coverage and you can add items such as a second photographer, an heirloom wedding album, a print collection or an additional session such as engagement or bridal sessions. I also have custom travel & elopement packages!
How many images will we receive?
I photograph weddings with the intention of capturing moments. I fully believe in quality over quantity, and the final number of images will ultimately depend on the level of detail and activity happening on your wedding day. As a general estimate, I deliver an average of 300-600 images. Engagement sessions typically yield 50-75 images depending on the time of day, location and level of detail and activity.
Will all the images we receive be edited?
I edit each and every image that I deliver to you with my own special recipe. I’ll take out small blemishes, spots, etc. I won’t remove noticeable birthmarks, moles, etc. unless you specify that you want them removed. I’ll make some black and white, some color, and I’ll make sure each image is consistent throughout to tell your story in the best way. I'll also go through all of the images and remove the unflattering faces, repetitive images, and anything else that doesn't help tell the story.
How long does it take to get our images?
My typical turnaround time for wedding galleries is 3-4 weeks.
Engagement sessions are typically ready within 2 weeks.
I found some poses online that I’d love to have done at my wedding. Do you ever work off of a shot list?
If there are any special guests attending your big day, or if certain ceremonies have significant meaning to you, this kind of information is definitely helpful for me to know ahead of time. However, I ask my couples to trust me with the overall art direction of their images. I’ve found that working off a set shot lists creates a rigid and overly posed environment, which unfortunately, doesn’t lead to the best photographs. Family portraits are typically the only time I do work off of a shot list.
